Basketball Recap: Wilson's Luck Changes for the Better on Tuesday

A well-balanced attack led Wilson over Adams in every quarter on their way to victory on Tuesday. The Wilson Wildcats strolled past the Adams Cougars with points to spare, taking the game 42-23. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Wildcats as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Wilson's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Kam Rose, who posted 14 points in addition to eight steals and five rebounds. Rose is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Diana Jaimes, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 10 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals.

Despite the loss, Adams still got an impressive performance from Artiss Harris, who put up nine points.

Wilson pushed their record up to 11-7 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 28.7 points per game. As for Adams, they now have a losing record at 7-8.

Wilson wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 54-18 loss against North Mesquite on the 13th. As for Adams, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 52-40 defeat against West Mesquite on the 13th.
