Eureka won the last time they faced Douglass and things went their way on Saturday too. The Tornadoes sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Bulldogs. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Tornadoes have posted since September 9th.

Hannah Perrier paced Eureka's offense, picking up six kills. Perrier got some help from Addison Westerman and her five assists. Alaina Westerman and Arabella Shepherd kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

With the victory, Eureka broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 8-10. As for Douglass, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-8.

Coming up, Eureka will head out on the road to face off against Cair Paravel at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Douglass, they will square off against Cheney at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
