It was a good run, but Stanley unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 63-56 to the Florien Blackcats. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Blackcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Stanley's defeat dropped their record down to 17-13-1. As for Florien, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 19-20.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Stanley will square off against Evans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Florien, they will challenge Simpson at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
