Oldham County has gone a perfect 5-0 against Trimble County recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Colonels are taking a road trip to challenge the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Trimble County took a loss in their last matchup and will be looking to turn the tables on Oldham County, who comes in off a win.

Oldham County took a loss when they played away from home on Saturday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They put the hurt on Central with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory continues a trend for the Colonels in their matchups with the Yellow Jackets: they've now won five in a row.

Meanwhile, Trimble County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of Walton-Verona.

Trimble County took Walton-Verona into a fifth set but they suffered a heartbreaking six-point loss. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-18, 23-25, 21-25, 25-19, 15-9.

Trimble County's defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Oldham County, their win bumped their record up to 17-9.

Oldham County took their victory against Trimble County in their previous meeting back in August of 2024 by a conclusive 3-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Colonels since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
