Basketball Recap: Boyceville Takes a Loss

Boyceville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were outmatched by the Durand-Arkansaw Panthers and fell 69-32. While losing is never fun, the Bulldogs can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Wisconsin basketball rankings (they are ranked 274th, while the Panthers are ranked 29th).

Boyceville's defeat dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Durand-Arkansaw, the win was the tenth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Boyceville will take on Spring Valley at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. As for Durand-Arkansaw, they will venture away from home to challenge Colfax at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Both teams are headed into the matchup with plenty of momentum (Colfax has won four straight at home, while Durand-Arkansaw won six straight on the road), something that'll have to change.
