After losing to Lake Oconee Academy the last time they met, George Walton Academy decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bulldogs came out on top against the Titans by a score of 13-6 on Friday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Bulldogs.

Aj Dillard looked great while leading his team to the win, rushing for 89 yards and one score on only 12 carries.

George Walton Academy's record is now 2-0. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they are on a seven-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. George Walton Academy is packing up and heading out for their first away game of the season: they will square off against Tattnall Square Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Lake Oconee Academy, they will head out to challenge Hancock Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
