Bergen Catholic won against Hackensack on Monday with ten runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Tuesday. The Crusaders didn't even let the St. Peter's Prep Marauders on the board, marking the Crusaders' second-straight 10-0 shutout. Considering the Crusaders have won six matchups by more than eight runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory made it two in a row for Bergen Catholic and bumps their season record up to 9-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.0 runs over those games. As for St. Peter's Prep, their loss ended a four-game streak of away wins and brought them to 8-5.

Bergen Catholic and St. Peter's Prep should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps New Jersey Rankings. The Crusaders will take on Pope John XXIII at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday with a big rank advantage (12 vs. 137). Meanwhile, St. Peter's Prep (ranked 33rd) will meet Memorial (ranked 187th) at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
