Lodi was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 11-4 to the Lyndhurst Golden Bears. On the bright side, the four- run performance marked the Rams' highest-scoring contest to date.

AnnaBella Lo Presti made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The team also got some help courtesy of Briyah Nobles, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-4.

Lodi's defeat dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Lyndhurst, their win ended a ten-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-1.

Coming up, Lodi will face off against Hasbrouck Heights at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. The Aviators' pitching crew has only allowed 1.8 runs per game this season, so the Rams' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Lyndhurst, they will take on St. Mary at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
