Baseball Game Preview: Anderson-Shiro Fighting Owls vs. Thrall Tigers

For the second straight game, Anderson-Shiro will face off against Thrall. The Fighting Owls will head out on the road to square off against the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Anderson-Shiro 3.8, Thrall 2.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Anderson-Shiro heads in on the heels of a playoff contest on Thursday. They fell 3-0 to Thrall. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Fighting Owls haven't been shut out since back in March.

Thrall is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 16 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 36-6-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.3 runs over those games. As for Anderson-Shiro, their loss was their fourth straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 22-13.
