Baseball Recap: Petaluma Makes It 16 in a Row at Home

There's no place like home for Petaluma, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They never let the Casa Grande Gauchos get on the board and left with a 5-0 win on Thursday. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Gauchos on Tuesday, they had to take a 4-1 defeat.

Not much got past Arlo Pendleton, who gave up just three hits and racked up nine Ks to keep Casa Grande off the board. Pendleton has been consistent for a while: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in ten consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Rowan Ball, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave him a new career-high. August Cuneo was another key player, going 2-for-3 with one run and one RBI.
