Baseball Recap: Caverna Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last four times Caverna and Metcalfe County had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Colonels came up short against the Hornets on Thursday, falling 17-0. The Colonels have struggled against the Hornets recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Caverna's record now sits at 1-12. As for Metcalfe County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caverna will challenge Edmonson County at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Metcalfe County, they will host Russellville at 5:30 p.m. on Friday.
