Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Rocky Mount Academy walked away with it. They walked away with a 3-1 win over Caldwell Academy on Saturday. The victory was familiar territory for Rocky Mount Academy, who have now won seven matches in a row.

Rocky Mount Academy had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 21-25, 25-23, 25-20, 28-26.

McKenna Rogers paced Rocky Mount Academy's offense, picking up 15 kills. Rogers got some help from Landry Miller and her 27 assists. Rogers also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Natalie Copeland, each putting up two.
