Volleyball Recap: Seminole Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

Seminole and Lake Mary squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Seminole had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Rams by a score of 3-2. The Seminoles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Rams earlier this season, when they won 3-0.

Mckaylah Mattis paced Seminole's offense, picking up eight kills. Mattis really made an impact as she also led the team in assists with 12. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

Lake Mary's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Parker Windisch led the charge by getting 21 digs and four aces. What's more, Windisch racked up seven assists, the most she's had since back in August. Another player making a difference was Madison Cook, who had 21 assists and 13 digs.

Seminole's loss dropped their record down to 12-14. As for Lake Mary, they now have a winning record of 12-11.

Coincidentally, Seminole and Lake Mary will both be playing Lake Brantley the next time they take the court. The Rams will head out to face the Patriots at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Seminoles will head out to face them at 7:00 p.m. on the 22nd.
