Softball Recap: Grant Union Prospectors vs. Vale Vikings
Grant Union was the 10-0 winner over Vale when they last played one another back in April of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Prospectors lost 11-4 to the Vikings on Thursday. The Prospectors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Addy Northway was huge no matter where she played even without the win. On the mound, she tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been consistent recently: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 1-for-4. She also hit a double, marking her first of the season.
Northway wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Reece Jacobs, who went 2-for-3 with one double.
Grant Union's defeat dropped their record down to 3-3. As for Vale, they now have a winning record of 2-1.
