Mulberry extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Chamberlain. They had just enough and edged out the Storm 3-2. The win was familiar territory for the Panthers, who have now won four games in a row.

Haylie Hightower spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned (and one unearned) run on five hits.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Lorianys Castanon Cruz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base. A'Lejah Washington was another key player, going 1-for-2 with one triple and one stolen base.

Mulberry's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-10. Those home wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Chamberlain, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-8 record this season.

Mulberry will venture away from home to take on Dunedin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Falcons' pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. Chamberlain does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
