Gentry got themselves on the board against Green Forest on Thursday, but Green Forest never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 17-0 margin over the Tigers. The result was nothing new for the Pioneers, who have now won five matches by 13 runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Gentry, bringing their record up to 5-3. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 15.5 runs over those games. As for Green Forest, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-12.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Gentry will venture away from home to face off against Rogers Heritage at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Green Forest, they will head out to square off against Huntsville at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
