Soccer Recap: Flagstaff Takes a Loss

Flagstaff was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Prescott Badgers. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Arizona soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while the Badgers are ranked eighth).

Flagstaff's loss dropped their record down to 3-7-3. As for Prescott, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which somehow still isn't as good as their 7-1-1 record this season.

Flagstaff didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 defeat against Mingus on the 4th. As for Prescott, they also wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and have already played their next contest, a 5-1 win against Coconino on the 30th.
