Summit Christian Academy waltzed into their match on Thursday with five straight wins... but they left with six. They blew past the Lincoln College Prep Blue Tigers 16-1. The result was nothing new for the Eagles, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.
Reagan Crooks made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run and only two hits while striking out eight over four innings pitched. Crooks was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in two of her four plate appearances.
In other batting news, Katchen Gillihan was incredible, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with four RBI and two runs. Another player making a difference was Macy Batchelder, who scored a run while going 1-for-1.
