Football Recap: Kasen Christian and Kashton Rhodes Pace Van-Far Defense

If Van-Far was riding high fresh off their 40-0 takedown of Mark Twain last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Indians took a hard 28-14 fall against the Montgomery County Wildcats on Friday. The contest marked the Indians' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Although Van-Far took the loss, they still got scores from Bryce Reading and Evan Utterback.

Van-Far didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kasen Christian and Kashton Rhodes.

Van-Far's defeat was their first in the district, dropping their district record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 3-2. As for Montgomery County, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
