Clovis East is 9-1 against Clovis since January of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Cougars can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 374th, while the Broncos are ranked 17th).

Clovis' loss dropped their record down to 9-12. As for Clovis East, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 13-6.

Everything came up roses for Clovis East against Clovis when the teams last played back in February of 2024, as the squad secured a 65-31 victory. Will Clovis East repeat their success, or does Clovis have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
