Baseball Recap: Kenston Comes Up Short

The Kenston Bombers didn't have quite enough to beat the New Richmond Lions on Saturday and fell 2-1.

Bryan Kuchta was a force to be reckoned with on the mound despite the final result: he didn't allow a single earned run over five innings pitched.

At the plate, Kenston saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Latz, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Kenston's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Kenston didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 6-5 loss against Princeton on the 29th. As for New Richmond, they will be playing at home against Clinton-Massie at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. This will be New Richmond's first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
