NCSSM: Durham had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 24.5 points) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They blew past the Falls Lake Firebirds, posting a 66-39 victory. The Unicorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven contests by 27 points or more this season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead NCSSM: Durham to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alex Caza, who almost dropped a double-double with 21 points and nine boards. Those 21 points gave Caza a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethann Burkett, who went 8-for-13 en route to 19 points.

NCSSM: Durham smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Falls Lake only two offensive boards.

Despite the loss, Falls Lake still got an impressive performance from Jonathan Taylor- Hamilton, who went 8-for-15 on his way to 22 points. Camden Cooke was another key player, putting up six points.

NCSSM: Durham's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.2 points over those games. As for Falls Lake, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost 11 of their last 13 games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-18 record this season.

NCSSM: Durham wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 68-60 victory against Wake Prep Academy on the 18th. Falls Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
