Softball Recap: Allen Park Jaguars vs. Divine Child Falcons        
        
		
            
 In what's become a running theme this season, Allen Park gave their fans yet another huge  victory on Tuesday. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Divine Child Falcons  a   9-0 shutout. The  win was nothing new for Allen Park as they're now sitting on six straight.
 The result came thanks to  Melody Filipiak's shutout, as she gave up just five  hits and racked up seven Ks. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't  given up  more than one  walk in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Mak Sitarski was a standout: she scored two  runs while going 4-for-4. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mallory Hool, who  went 1-for-4 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 Allen Park pushed their record up to 31-5 with that  victory, which was their 18th straight  at home dating back to last season. As for Divine Child, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.
 Allen Park will stay at home for another  game and welcome Airport at 4:00  p.m.  on Thursday. The pair have allowed few  runs on average, (Allen Park: 2.5, Airport: 3.4) so any  runs scored will be well earned. As for Divine Child, they will challenge Riverview on Saturday. Riverview will roll in looking for their  eighth straight  win, something Divine Child surely won't give up without a fight.
