Basketball Recap: Houston County Comes Up Short

Houston County lost against Geneva County last Monday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Houston County Lions took a 41-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Geneva County Bulldogs.

Houston County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-14. As for Geneva County, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-12.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Cottonwood the next time they take the court. Geneva County will head out to face Cottonwood at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while Houston County will host them at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
