Stonington won against Woodstock Academy on Saturday with five runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Monday. The Bears walked away with a 5-2 victory over the Old Lyme Wildcats. The win was nothing new for the Bears as they're now sitting on four straight.

Stonington's record now sits at 6-7. As for Old Lyme, their loss dropped their record down to 11-6.

Coming up, Stonington will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Griswold at 4:00 p.m. The Wolverines have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.36 runs per game on average), something the Bears will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Old Lyme, they will head out to face off against Ledyard at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
