 Evanston can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game  on Thursday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  3-2  victory over the Highland Park Giants. That's more bragging rights for Evanston, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Highland Park will take on Maine East at 4:45  p.m.  on Monday. Maine East has struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 6.73  runs per game on average), something Highland Park will no doubt try to take advantage of.
