Chinle has gone a perfect 10-0 against Tuba City recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will head out to challenge the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Chinle took a loss when they played away from home on Monday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They had just enough and edged out Window Rock 6-5. The win continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Fighting Scouts: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Tuba City). They were the clear victors by a 24-7 margin over Hopi on Thursday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

Miara Bilagody was a standout: she scored three runs and stole five bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Jailynn Acothley, who scored three runs and stole three bases while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Tuba City always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .879. The last time their OBP was this high was was before the start of last season.

Tuba City is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-11 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Chinle, their record now sits at 7-9.

Chinle took their victory against Tuba City when the teams last played back in March by a conclusive 13-5 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Wildcats since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
