Cleveland entered their tilt with Birmingham on Friday with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. They walked away with a 58-49 win over the Birmingham Patriots. Given the Cavaliers' advantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 113th, while the Patriots are ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Cleveland to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kamari King, who went 8 for 14 en route to 19 points and five assists. The team also got some help courtesy of Cayden Kelly, who went 6 of 10 to rack up 16 points and five rebounds.

Cleveland's victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-4. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 70.0 points over those games. As for Birmingham, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.

Coming up, Cleveland will venture away from home to challenge Chatsworth at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Chatsworth knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 24 matches -- so hopefully Cleveland likes a good challenge. As for Birmingham, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Cleveland at 7:30 p.m.
