Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Pine Tree). They skirted past the Henderson Lions 3-2. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Pirates as it put an end to their four-game losing streak.

Bailey Robles and Indy Salazar scored all three of Pine Tree's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Pine Tree's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Henderson, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-6-1.

Pine Tree wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Sabine on the 24th. Henderson has also already played their next contest (against Tatum), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
