Basketball Game Preview: Huron Tigers vs. Lincoln Patriots

Huron hasn't had much luck against Lincoln recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Huron Tigers will look to defend their home court against the Lincoln Patriots at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Huron will bounce into Friday's matchup after beating Mitchell, who they had gone 1-8 against in their nine prior meetings. Huron walked away with a 47-38 victory over Mitchell on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Tigers.

Meanwhile, Lincoln put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They enjoyed a cozy 53-38 win over Jefferson. The 53-point effort marked the Patriots' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Huron's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Lincoln, they pushed their record up to 7-0 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Huron came out on top in a nail-biter against Lincoln in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, sneaking past 52-50. Will Huron repeat their success, or does Lincoln have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
