Basketball Recap: Warren Comes Up Short

Warren was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They took a blow against the East Chambers Buccaneers, falling 83-39. The Warriors were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-14.

Landyn Broussard was Warren's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Parker Brocato held things down on the boards with eight rebounds. He took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with five assists.

Warren's loss dropped their record down to 4-23. As for East Chambers, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 23-7.

Warren wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 46-37 victory against Kirbyville on the 28th. East Chambers has also already played their next contest, a 79-70 win against Orangefield on the 28th.
