Volleyball Game Preview: Cameron Dragons vs. St. Pius X Warriors

Cameron hasn't had much luck against St. Pius X recently, but that could start to change on Thursday. The Dragons will be playing in front of their home fans against the Warriors at 7:00 p.m. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Having struggled with five defeats in a row, Cameron turned things around against Richmond on Monday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Spartans.

Cameron was especially dominant in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 22-25, 25-16.

Meanwhile, St. Pius X beat Excelsior Springs 3-1 on Monday. The Warriors haven't had any issues with the Tigers recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive win against them.

St. Pius X walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 19-25, 25-10, 25-18.

Cameron's win bumped their record up to 5-21. As for St. Pius X, their victory bumped their record up to 12-13-1.
