Volleyball Recap: Presentation Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Presentation came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Leigh Longhorns, falling 3-0. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Longhorns apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-16, 25-15, 25-15.

Gabby Whitehurst paced Presentation's offense, picking up five kills. Whitehurst got some help from Penny Johnson and her 13 assists. Michaela Artmore controlled things from the service line, finishing with two aces.

Presentation has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-21 record this season. As for Leigh, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-13 record this season.

Presentation wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Archbishop Mitty on the 21st. As for Leigh, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 loss against Christopher on the 21st.
