Meanwhile, Atoka didn't have quite enough to beat Madill on Tuesday and fell 2-1. Atoka has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Durant's win bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Atoka, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.
Everything went Durant's way against Atoka in their previous meeting back in March of 2022 as Durant made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for Durant since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
