Softball Preview: Pueblo County Hornets vs. Pueblo Central Wildcats
Pueblo County has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will head out to face off against the Pueblo Central Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Pueblo County is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Colorado's top teams: Pueblo Centennial, who was ranked 20th in their home state at the time (Pueblo County was ranked 11th). Pueblo County blew past Pueblo Centennial 11-2 on Tuesday.
Olivia Nesbit made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits. Nesbit was even better at the plate, going 3-for-4 with three runs, a triple, and two RBI. That triple marked the first that she's hit this season.

On the mound, she struck out eight batters over five innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Romero was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with four RBI and a double.
In other batting news, Pueblo Central let Raelynn (Elena) Martinez and Leyla Padilla loose on the outfield.
