Basketball Recap: Leah Shappell's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Leo over Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger

Leo lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Leah Shappell, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 12 boards. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in blocks (seven). Another player making a difference was Malina Lape, who posted 17 points and five rebounds.

Even though they lost, Leo smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive boards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Fort Wayne Bishop Dwenger only pulled down eight offensive rebounds.
