Anchor Bay had already won nine in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 5.1 runs) and they went ahead and made it ten on Tuesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 5-4 W against the Utica Eisenhower Eagles. This was payback for the Tars, who suffered a 7-0 loss the last time these two teams met.

Zach Clemons looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one walk in 11 consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Isaiah Domey was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and one run. That's the most hits he has posted since back in April. Another player making a difference was Austin McMahon, who went 1-for-4 with two stolen bases and one run.

Anchor Bay pushed their record up to 18-9 with the victory, which was their seventh straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Utica Eisenhower, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-13.

Coming up, Anchor Bay will venture away from home to square off against Dakota at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Tars 3.9, the Cougars 2.8) so any runs scored will be well earned. As for Utica Eisenhower, they will face off against Lakeview at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
