Basketball Recap: St. James Takes a Loss

If St. James was riding high fresh off their 90-59 takedown of Mountain Lake/Comfrey on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Saints fell 63-57 to the Fairmont Cardinals on Tuesday. The Saints have struggled against the Cardinals recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

St. James' loss dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Fairmont, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. St. James will square off against Maple River at 1:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairmont, they will take on Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial at 1:30 p.m. on Monday.
