Country Christian is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 29-28 victory over Southwest Christian. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Cougars.

Meanwhile, Jordan Valley came tearing into Friday's game with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 26 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Warriors 52-31. The Mustangs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 14 contests by 21 points or more this season.

Jordan Valley pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their ninth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.1 points over those games. As for Country Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 23-5.
