Saraland had already won four in a row and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Bryant Hurricanes with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent victory being a 2-0 win back in September.

Charli Pearce paced Saraland's offense, picking up nine kills. Pearce got some help from Taniyah Smith and her 13 assists. Finally, Lily Willlingham kept Saraland's defense grounded, leading the team with five blocks.

Saraland's victory bumped their record up to 25-3. As for Bryant, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 15-10.

Saraland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against UMS-Wright Prep on the 6th. As for Bryant, they will square off against Theodore at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
