Basketball Recap: Minneapolis South Takes a Loss

Minneapolis South was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 78-47 loss at the hands of the North Polars. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 276th, while the Polars are ranked 126th).

Minneapolis South's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for North, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 7-3 record this season.

Minneapolis South will square off against Roosevelt at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Roosevelt has been dominant on offense recently, having racked up an incredible 226 points over their last three contests. As for North, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 69-59 win against Two Rivers on the 21st.
