Basketball Game Preview: Opp Bobcats vs. Pike County Bulldogs

The Opp Bobcats will head out on the road to take on the Pike County Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

It was a proper cat-fight when Opp duked it out withStraughn on Friday. Opp fell to Straughn 40-36. The Bobcats haven't had much luck with the Tigers recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Pike County, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Tuesday. They took down New Brockton 47-31 on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Pike County's victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 2-9. As for Opp, their loss dropped their record down to 9-11.

Opp was able to grind out a solid win over Pike County in their previous matchup on Tuesday, winning 49-42. The rematch might be a little tougher for Opp since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
