Basketball Recap: Battle Ground Tigers vs. Skyview Storm
Battle Ground lost against Skyview back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Battle Ground Tigers were dealt a 70-36 defeat at the hands of the Skyview Storm. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 322nd, while the Storm are ranked 136th).

Battle Ground lost despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Charlotte Clarke, who posted eight points and three steals. Battle Ground has traveled a rocky road recently having lost eight of their last ten games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. As for Skyview, their victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-9.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Battle Ground will host Union at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
