Softball Recap: Ray Comes Up Short

Ray fell victim to Gregory-Portland and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Wildcats, falling 8-0. The Texans haven't had much luck with the Wildcats recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Ray's loss dropped their record down to 6-17. As for Gregory-Portland, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-9.

Ray has already played their next match (against Flour Bluff), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Gregory-Portland, they will head out on the road to take on Alice at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
