Softball Recap: Arlington Takes a Loss

Arlington came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against the Reading Memorial Rockets, falling 15-1. The matchup marked the Spy Ponders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Arlington's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Reading Memorial, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arlington will challenge Shawsheen Valley Tech at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Reading Memorial, they will face off against Wakefield Memorial at 4:15 p.m. on Monday. The Rockets will need to watch out since the Warriors have now posted at least ten runs every time they've taken the field this season.
