Weir and Oak Glen are an even 5-5 against one another since May of 2021, but likely not for long. The Red Riders will head out to challenge the Golden Bears at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Weir will be strutting in after a victory while Oak Glen will be coming in after a loss.

On Monday, Weir got the win against Beaver Local by a conclusive 14-1. The Red Riders have beaten the Beavers the last seven times they've met, but they better watch out: this was the closest the Beavers has come to flipping the script.

Meanwhile, Oak Glen came up short against Harrison Central on Monday, falling 14-3.

Oak Glen saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Lucas Zoellers, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with two RBI.

Weir's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Oak Glen, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-11.

Weir took their victory against Oak Glen in their previous matchup back in March by a conclusive 15-3 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Riders since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
