Baseball Recap: Gregori Picks Up Third Consecutive Victory

It was a proper cat-fight when Gregori took on Modesto on Wednesday. The Jaguars were the clear victors by a 13-3 margin over the Panthers. The victory was familiar territory for the Jaguars, who have now won three contests in a row.

Stefan Thoukis was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. That's the most hits he has posted since back in March. Dustin McLain was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

Gregori always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .588. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.

Gregori's win bumped their record up to 9-12. As for Modesto, their defeat was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-17.

Gregori will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Panthers: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
