Volleyball Recap: Tucson High Magnet School Finds Home Court Redemption Against Camelback

There's no place like home for Tucson High Magnet School, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They came out on top against the Camelback Spartans by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Badgers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 22-25, 25-16, 25-17.

Axel Fraser paced Tucson High Magnet School's offense, picking up 12 kills. Fraser got some help from T?ltos Geml and his 29 assists. Vaughan Lancaster controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

The win got Tucson High Magnet School back to even at 6-6. As for Camelback, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Looking ahead, Tucson High Magnet School will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Walden Grove at 5:30 p.m. Walden Grove will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Tucson High Magnet School surely won't give up without a fight. As for Camelback, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Marana on the 21st.
