Meanwhile, after soaring to 12 runs the game before, Oregon City was a bit more limited in their contest on Monday. They fell just short of West Linn by a score of 3-1. The Pioneers' defeat signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Oregon City's loss dropped their record down to 6-11. As for Tigard, their victory bumped their record up to 8-9.
