Preview: Whitehouse vs. Hallsville
The Whitehouse Wildcats will head out on the road to challenge the Hallsville Bobcats at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Whitehouse's last seven games have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Whitehouse ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past Texas 2-1. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Whitehouse was the better team in the second half.
Meanwhile, Hallsville didn't have quite enough to beat Tyler on Tuesday and fell 2-1. Hallsville has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Whitehouse has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-1-4 record this season. As for Hallsville, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-4-1.
Whitehouse suffered a grim 5-0 defeat to Hallsville in their previous meeting back in March of 2023. Can Whitehouse avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
